When you have been accepted to FLC, you will be assigned a faculty advisor in your first semester. Contact the Teacher Education Department to set up a meeting. Review the so you can plan to take the right courses at the right time.
This program will build your proficiency in reading, writing, math, social studies and science content preparation and give you hands-on experience teaching students in those content areas in Kindergarten through 6th grades. After completing all the program requirements, you will graduate with a B.A. in Elementary Education and obtain your Colorado Elementary Education License.
